Mono Live Album Available for Pre-Order

As prosmised, Mono’s live album, recorded at their 10th anniversary concert last year in New York featuring the 24-piece Worldless Music Orchestra, is available for pre-order as of today.

The album, cleverly titledĀ Holy Ground: NYC Live with The Worldless Music Orchestra, will be released in two formats, a CD/DVD package and a limited edition 3xLP/DVD package. Both versions of the album include the DVD, which features the entire 90-minute concert.

The vinyl edition is limited to 3000 units, including two different colored vinyl sets, limited to 500 units each. The first colored vinyl set has a clear/transparent red/opaque red/black mix and a clear/transparent blue/opaque blue/black mix for the second. All vinyl sets come housed in a triple-gatefold jacket and include a bonus track not featured on the CD. Continue reading

Mono – North American Tour + Live Album

Mono announced yesterday that they will be embarking on a North American tour, starting April 30th at Emos Outside in Austin, Texas. They’ll be playing The El Rey Theater here in L.A. again, which is a great place to see them. The opening act is a band from Scotland called The Twilight Sad.

Mono are one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen, so if this tour comes anywhere near you, you should go. This is not something you want to miss. Continue reading
